Kingsoft Office Won the World Copyright Gold Prize

 

On 21th June, 2012, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Copyright Gold Medal awards ceremony and the Fourth China International Copyright Expo opening ceremony was held at the Great Hall of the People in China. At the meeting, Kingsoft Office won the World Intellectual Property Organization Copyright Gold Prize. The director of Press and Publication, Liu; the Director General of WIPO, Francis Gurry attended the event and the ceremony. Press and Publication Liu, and the WIPO Director-General Francis Gurry attended the event and award gold prize to Kingsoft Office.

According to the survey, the World Intellectual Property Organization Copyright Gold Prize is a global mechanisms that is established by WIPO in the field of copyright. From 2008, the National Copyright Administration cooperate with WIPO to the introduce this award to China. Vote once every two years. Currently this award is the hightest award in China. Kingsoft won the World Intellectual Property Organization Copyright Gold Prize of Work Award that dictates its strength. This award reflects the relevant departments highly recognizing Kingsoft Office for the independent innovation. Kingsoft Office products has awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award, respectively, in 2000 and 2007.
